23rd December 2004:

THE STONE KING BATH & DISTRICT INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE – K.O. CUP 2004

The F.F.F.F.’s from Melksham surprised everyone by beating favourites and holders Livingstone Villa 2-1 in an exciting night of Indoor Football held at King Edward’s Sports Hall. The final was settled with 2 clinical finishes by The F.F.F.F.’s star man Ollie Gee after Matt Peters had brought the game level with a well taken goal.

Earlier in the evening Writhlington were also surprise winners by beating G.T. Five 4-0 with Leigh Cooper scoring twice. They eventually went out to The F.F.F.F.’s 3-1 in the semi final. The other side of the draw saw Livingstone Villa cruise through their group games scoring 8 goals without reply. Newly promoted Railway Brewery did well to progress to the semi finals only to see Livingstone halt their run with a 3-0 victory.

Mr Kevin Butt of the Bath & District Football League presented the trophies on behalf of the League.
